LOUIS XVI BERGERE in carved and molded natural wood with cabriolet back, armrests with cuffs, canopy decorated with feurette, resting on four fluted tapered legs. Stamped C. Leclerc. Upholstered in a sky-blue fabric embroidered with flowers. Molded and carved beech. Dimensions: H. 93.5 cm x W. 66 cm x D. 70 cm. "Claude Leclerc - carpenter. Paris. Mastered on October 12, 1785. He practiced first on rue de Charenton, at "L'Agneau Pascal", then on rue de Charenton. He was essentially a chair maker. He produced some charming ones, always with a very elaborate sculpture."
