SPECIALIST NOTES
St. Francis de Sales can rightly be considered the inspirer and co-founder of the Salesian order, founded by St. John Bosco and placed under the protection of Maria SS. Helper; while its owner and patron is precisely St. Francis de Sales, because Don Bosco wanted the Salesians to be inspired by the gentleness and charity of this saint.
