Large porcelain vase decorated with immortals, China, Republic (1911-1949)
Baluster-shaped, with two Greek-shaped handles on the neck, enameled on one side with the eight immortals in a landscape, including Shoulao in flight on a crane, and on the other with a young scholar greeting an armed man beside his donkey, two inscriptions with date and seal (one on the neck, the other on the body). Cracks, scratches and wear to glazes.
