"Argus".
Exceptional illuminated wall sconce in finely chased bronze with a nuanced antique-green patina. It depicts a stylized bird of paradise with outstretched wings, represented by nine symmetrically arranged carved alabaster plaques.
Handwritten signature "Albert Cheuret" on the lower right-hand edge.
Circa 1925.
