Eduard De Rop's son has emerged as a worthy successor to his father. The short story of "Les bouleaux frémissants" marked the start of his
collaboration with the Vandersteen studio. Since 1986, he has been the inker for Bob et Bobette, putting his own stamp on the series. He began working for Studio Vandersteen in Kalmthout in 1970, drawing the Bessy and Jérôme series. He also drew La famille Guignon and Des Gueux. On a temporary basis, he took part in the Bob et Bobette series and was responsible for illustrating the Franfreluche strips.
The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, structurally protective, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese paper-folding technique.
