David Peters. Original gouache artwork exclusively in aid of "Une tente une vie" on cardboard. Signed. Wood frame with Plexiglas glass included: 155 x 125 cm
An indefatigable Belgian jack-of-all-trades, soaking his bubbling imagination sometimes in blood-red, sometimes in the ink of darkness, David P.'s frenetic brushwork gives birth to an infinite number of paintings. Each one opens the door to a parallel world, another dimension, populated by teasing little monsters, demonic creatures and venomously erotic nymphs. Brusseleir and zievereir by training, he has already published a number of books, including "Le livre secret du dégoûtant", "Elephant man, anatomie d'un monstre", "14-18 Belgique en guerre", as well as the "Beurk, la cruelle histoire de l'humanité" series, in which he shows us a new facet of his art, offering playful, educational books tinged with humor that will delight teenagers fond of spectacular imagery. Let your senses plunge into the heart of his historical-fantastic-erotic-burlesque universe.
The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, structurally protective, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese paper-folding technique.
