Born in Brussels in 1968, l studied artistic humanities at the Institut St-Luc, and completed his training at La Cambre and the Académie de Saint-Gilles. Soon after his studies, he became a specialist in computer coloring, collaborating on numerous successful comic strip series: L' Agent 212, Cupidon, Du côté de chez Poje, Boule à Zéro, Dans les Yeux de Camille, etc... At the same time, Laurent creates countless illustrations, logos, websites, posters and flyers, in his own unique tone of humor and fantasy. From 2002, he also took up painting, creating funny, offbeat, colorful figurines. In 1994, Laurent invented "Lulu et Berlu", absurd adventures in strip form that are collected in an album, published by Editions "Topgame". In 2016, Laurent illustrated the children's book "Le Rhino-madaire Rocéros", published by Editions "Max et Compagnie". In 2018, together with Natacha de LOCHT, they founded a publishing house called "Les NEZ à NEZ" to publish their fun and educational books.
The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, structurally protective, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese paper-folding technique.
