He is joined by Prajnaparamita, the goddess of wisdom personifying the sutra text of the same name, who looks up at her consort in loving adoration. Here, the placement of Prajnaparamita's lowered right hand, in combination with her raised left hand, is an iconographic feature for divine couples made in the workshops of Nepal.Compare with another image from the Shah period, published in von Schroeder, Indo-Tibetan Bronzes, 1981, p. 392, no. 108C.
