A TURQUOISE-GLAZED ALMS BOWL
18th century
Of compressed globular form, the body tapering towards the foot, with slightly incurving sides terminating in a wide mouth rim, boldly incised around the exterior with two sinuous striding dragons moving amongst cloud scrolls, all below a band of ruyi heads around the rim, covered inside and out with a translucent turquoise glaze, the base unglazed, wood stand.
14.5cm (5 3/4in) high (2).
