From Hôtel Le Meurice. PHILIPPE STARCK (B. 1949) FOR HÔTEL MEURICE "Col de Cygne" model specially created in 2007 for the "Le Dali" restaurant and "Bar 228". Corbeille sofa in ribbed, molded, carved and mahogany-stained beech; partly painted gold in the style of gilding. The carved title decoration forms the armrests; the belt decorated with palmettes and rosettes in relief. Sabre-type legs with recessed treatment. Upholstered in black leather (not original). Height: 77 cm. - L : 140 cm. - D : 68 cm. Used condition, lumbar cushion missing, upholstery and tapestry replaced in 2016 during the renovation project led by Philippe Starck.
