Jade Kim is a visual artist who studied at the Korea National University of Arts. She works with paintings and sculptures to create her character. Throughout his career he has been involved in the creative field, and after being in the exhibition planning industry for a decade, Jade decided to pursue the expression of his true passion through paintings and sculptures.
He often depicts "MIN", an animated version of his wife, in his works. His wife's personality and characteristics inspire his works. He also portrays the rapidly changing world we live in and how it sometimes gets out of control. The perseverance and yet tender characteristic of a mature woman can be interpreted as a cry for the current difficulties of our society. As Jade Kim says: "Looking at my paintings, I wanted to remind myself of what we had lost and what we had to protect.
