ROY SHIFRIN (1937) Bronze sculpture. Marble base Signed on the base 56 x 21 x 8 cm; 59 x 25 x 10 x 10 cm Roy Shifrin was born and studied art in New York. His career has straddled New York, Europe and Vermont. His work focuses mainly on his sculptural side, and especially as a bronze artist. He has had 4 solo exhibitions in New York, 6 in London and 7 in Barcelona, as well as numerous group and museum exhibitions on both sides of the Atlantic. Here is a small sample of works from recent exhibitions. In addition to being a sculptor, Roy Shifrin is noted for his work as an engraver, specialising in woodcut and lithography.
