Émile GALLÉ (1846-1906) Covered pot featuring a Gallé egg, in multi-layered glass, acid-etched with a revolving décor of lake scenery, trees reflected on the water, all flown over by three butterflies. Various shades of green and brown embellished with a violet hue in the decoration and on the lid, all on a light satin-finish background, signed Gallé in the decoration and on the lid, circa 1900, h 15.5 x d 9 cm, condition: excellent and very well made.
