A large porcelain scroll-shaped vase decorated in blue underglaze with peonies in their foliage and overdecorated in gold, red and brown lacquer with peonies and chrysanthemums in poly-lobed reserves, the neck decorated with flower medallions and butterflies and a frieze of plant motifs and brocades (Accidents, cracks and missing lacquer) H. 57.5 cm Total height 64.5 cm Mounted in gilt bronze later.
