Untitled, 1982 Oil on canvas 90 x 90 cm Before Günther Damisch became professor of printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, he studied there himself. This painting was created towards the end of his studies, in 1982, during the years when he was an active member of the punk band Molto Brutto. What is remarkable is the youthful and combative spirit of this painting - qualities that we often associate with students, but which define Damisch's entire artistic output.
