Evening dress in lamé, model "Salomé" by PAUL POIRET circa 1919-1920. Toilet in two parts composed of a large dalmatic in lace spider of metallic silver thread and rhinestones set closed underlining the patterns and medallions of Byzantine style, closed under the navel of an imposing tassel of passementerie in silver cannetille. Of a bottom of dress of right form with straps of tulle in chainmail of silver blade, broad band of hem in the same metallic lace as the tunic (hole, brittlenesses, oxidized and disintegrated meshes in the armhole).
Black woven Iribe rose on white satin "PAUL POIRET in Paris" sewn on the back of the dress. On the reverse side of the dress, a label with ink mention of the sale number, the customer, the saleswoman and the name of the model: "59.330 B R de Rothschild/ Reine (?) - Salomé".
