LYON or NEVERS Lyon earthenware dish, late 16th-early 17th century. 17th century. Inventory number in red AR 6067. Solid blue, green, ochre and manganese decoration depicting Apollo playing the lyre, surrounded by nine muses, some playing instruments, in a landscape, ochre fillet on the rim, reverse with three concentric ochre fillets (small chips on the heel, chips, minor wear).
