Spherical Chart from Punta de Europa to Cabo de Gata on the European Coast and from Ceuta to Cabo Hone on the African Coast. Etching 62 x 93 cm Marine chart belonging to the "Atlas Marítimo de España", made by Vicente Tofiño de San Miguel (1732-1795) and published in Madrid between 1787 and 1789. This work was the starting point of the modern Spanish cartography, of which it is considered as a masterpiece. It combines terrestrial, maritime, astronomical and geometric observations.
