Doe at rest.
Very rare bronze with brown patina, probably unique, produced by the artist's workshop and dedicated to his friend Sebran (mention engraved on the front of the base).
H. 6 cm, L.: 12,5 cm.
Note: The piece bears the signature of the artist around 1840, he seems to have made for his friend a marcottage (variant) of the group of deer but modifying the terrace which this time is rectangular and no longer oval, this one is lined in plaster as it was usual at the time. The skin of the bronze is exceptional.
