Cement and trencadís.
Provenance: Important palace in Barcelona.
Measurements: 35 x 43 x 43 cm.
Pair of stools, in which the ceramic technique of trencadís has been used, a mosaic technique which was emblematic of the architecture and decoration of Catalan modernism under the influence of Gaudí. The yellow is combined with the black that traces a Greek fretwork decoration on the seat, combined with rosettes.
