CHINA, Qianlong mark and period. A rare Buddhist ewer "Bumpa" in porcelain decorated with fencai enamels of foliage and lotus flowers, mounted on an enlarged foot, with a globular body, a neck with a double bulbous shaft with a cylindrical cup opening, the spout emerging from the mouth of a makara. The interior and the base in turquoise. Qianlong mark in blue in a white square on a turquoise background on the base. H: 20 cm (pierced base, crack on the neck, some wear and tear and enamel chips).
