A percussion pocket pistol by Francotte
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Liege, Micro-rifled, round, damascened, turn-off, 11 mm cal. barrel, with foresight; long, wide tang engraved and provided with rear sight; iron frame of oval section finely engraved on the left side, the base of the barrel marked 'AF' under crown and numbered '27'. Ebony butt, the butt-plate with drum, silver lid shaped as a shell. Silver badge at the back, with owner's monogram. length 16.7 cm.
