A miniature percussion pistol
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Smoothbore, round, turn-off, 8 mm cal. barrel, with structure made of damask. Boxlock-type frame engraved with floral motifs, provided with mark of the Liège test bench. Engraved foldaway trigger. Cock off-centre to the right side. Ebony butt, the butt-plate with drum, copper lid with lion's head. Back with oval, silver badge. length 11.2 cm.
