A flintlock wender pistol
dating: 18th Century provenance: Russia, Round, smoothbore, two-stage, 13.5 mm. cal. barrels, with smooth and beaded rings at the girdle. The surface and all the metal parts engraved with floral motifs on a gold-granulated background; roundish lock and counterplate (the cock is replaced); slightly sculpted wooden stock (various repairs and some missing parts); iron mounts decorated en suite; sliding the trigger guard, provided with a spring, the barrels release and can rotate. Some of the screws and the ramrod replaced. Interesting. length 42 cm.
