An over-and under-barreled flintlock pistol
dating: First half of the 18th Century provenance: Holland, Smoothbore, over-and-under, two-stage, 13 mm cal barrels, octagonal at the first part, the above one featuring a gunsmith's name (not legible), the lower one with a deep, lateral mark; tang with two screws. Long, slender flintlocks with sober engravings depicting small circles. Working mechanism. Wooden butt and fore-end, restorations on the right side around the lock, a crack on the other side. Smooth brass mounts, pommel with large mask. Double trigger. Horn-tipped, wooden ramrod. length 47 cm.
