A beautiful miquelet lock pistol dating: Second half of the 18th Century provenance: Naples, Interesting, smoothbore, round, 15 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the base and with rib, engraved and carved at the first part with bust, face and floral motifs in bas-relief; tang coated with brass engraved with floral motifs. Lock finely carved and engraved with floral motifs. Wooden full stock partially sculpted with floral motifs. Beautiful bronze mounts richly engraved with masks, bust and floral motifs, the butt plate also with two allegorical figures. Iron belt hook with carved tip. Faceted brass-tipped wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractors.. length 36 cm.
