A fine S&W type rimfire revolver
dating: circa 1870 - 1880 provenance: Belgium, Octagonal, rifled, 32 rimfire cal barrel with high rib featuring the mark 'SMITH & WESSON'S PATTERN MASS.' on the back, and a crowned 'T' mark (Belgian test bench?) on one side. Opening swiveling upwards , six-shot cylinder marked with patents. Spur trigger. Barrel and cylinder with coeval numbering. Nickel-plated finishing. Wooden grips, one marked 'HS'. An antique copy of good quality, probably of Belgian manufacture. length 27,5 cm.
