History
St. Nicholas is one of the most venerated saints in Russia, mainly depicted in bust form, blessing with his left hand and holding the Gospels in the other hand. On either side, two medallions showing Christ offering the Gospels to St. Nicholas on the left and the Mother of God on the right
on the right, the Mother of God giving him her omophorion.
