Fabien Mazé aka Xkuz is a French visual artist born in 1985 in the Hauts-de-France region. After fifteen years as a graffiti artist, the desire to make his work polymorphous led him to gradually move away from the usual lettering towards a more abstract style, while retaining an attachment to typography and painting. He develops a poetic discourse imbued with freedom, in which he seeks to transcribe an ideal of life, between joy, dynamism, balance and fluidity through geometric constructions. Color is harmoniously incorporated into this score, giving rhythm to compositions in which each element is part of a larger whole. Through his singular works, Fabien seeks above all the emotional potential they can convey, leaving the viewer a great deal of freedom in his interpretation.
