An ancient and very beautiful zoomorphic mortar in the shape of a stylized jaguar. The head and the tail of the jaguar are carved with volumes with totally flat faces without any recess or engraving, this pure style validating its antiquity.
Transitional culture Valdivia-Chorrera, 1500 to 600 BC.
Polished speckled stone, trace of deposits at the level of the mortar, beautiful old patina of use.
