A beautiful male figure standing, the mouth of the man-jaguar and an important cranial deformation visible in profile, both characteristic and emblematic of the great Olmec arts. Olmec culture, Chontal-Olmec hybrid style, 1000 to 400 B.C., Guerrero State, Mexico Polished green stone, very beautiful and old patina. H. 13.5 cm Provenance : Anne and Jacques Kerchache Collection.
