Ferdinand BARBEDIENNE (1810-1892), Tazza, circa 1880 in black marble of Belgium, gilded bronze and polychrome cloisonné enamels decorated in circumference of a frieze of foliage and flowers in a reserve of stylized Greek. Large handles with double scroll joined by a head of faun with snakes. It rests on a pedestal with a round base.
H. 21 cm, DL. 32 cm
Piece certainly realized in collaboration with Louis-Constant SEVIN.
Signed on the pedestal "F. Barbedienne" and bears a label under the base.
