Screech owls (Two screech owls)

Bronze. Height 15,2 cm. Mounted on stone base (4,4 x 14 x 7 cm). Signed on the side of the wing of the right owl 'A. GAUL'. - With dark brown patina, the beaks partly lightened. The eyes made of black glass flux. - Partially with weak, superficial rubbing.

The specimens of the two oddballs were mounted on very different, uneven stone bases. There are probably a few lifetime casts, some early estate casts and some casts of more recent date.
