A LARGE BLUE-GLAZED DOUBLE-GOURD VASE China, probably late Qing Dynasty Porcelain. H. 41.5 cm. The vase is covered overall with a rich dark blue glaze, with a mark "Daqing Yongzheng Nianzhi" on the bottom. With traces of use, partially damaged and restored. Provenance: From a private collection in Munich, acquired between 1935 and 1949 in China, where the previous owner worked as a chemist for the company I.G-Farben in foreign office, later in family possession. Die Vase ist insgesamt mit einer dunkelblauen Glasur bedeckt, mit einer Marke "Daqing Yongzheng Nianzhi" am Boden. Part. besch. u. rest., mit Gebrauchsspuren. Provenienz: Aus einer Privatsammlung in München, erworben zwischen 1935 und 1949 in China, wo der Vorbesitzer als Chemiker bei der Firma I.G-Farben im Außendienst war, später in Familienbesitz.
