This fine hand-painted biscuit porcelain figurine from the early Soviet period depicts a harmonica player modeled after the male figure in the painting by Boris Kustodiev "The Village Carnival." Made at Verbilki, Dmitrov Porcelain Factory, the 1930s. Marked on the reverse of the base: in red ink "Rossteklo - porcelain, Moscow," incised number "1808."
