Soviet propaganda porcelain tea pair "KIM Uzbekistan" (Communist Youth International), Dulevo, circa 1927-32. Marked under base with green underglaze factory mark. Communist Youth International (KIM) - from 1919 to 1943, an international youth organization, a section of the Comintern. The founding congress of the KIM took place on November 20-26, 1919 in Berlin. 29 delegates from 13 countries represented 219 thousand members of youth organizations. The task of the organization was to create a broad mass movement of youth in defense of their economic, political and cultural interests. In May 1943, after the dissolution of the Comintern, the KIM was also dissolved. Dimensions: Cup: H: 2 1/2 in., (5.7 cm.) Saucer: D: 5 3/8 in., (13.5 cm.) Very good, no chips or cracks.
