Russian Imperial porcelain plate from the Life Guard Sapper Battalion table service by Kornilov Brothers Porcelain Factory. With a white background, the plate features the symbol of the Russian Sapper Battalion on the top - a crowned double-headed dark green eagle sitting on a pedestal. The plate is also adorned with a gilt rim. The plate is marked underside by the Kornilov Brothers Porcelain Factory, founded in St Petersburg in 1835.
Dimensions: D: 9 3/4 in., (24.7 cm.)
Very good, the gilding at the rim has partially faded.
