Part of a living room in carved and gilded wood decorated with foliage, pearls and tigettes. It includes
four armchairs with trapezoid cabriolet backs and a sofa with a wrap-around back. Feet
tapered legs with curved flutes.
Fabric of cleanliness marked " JANSEN PARIS " in ink with the stencil.
Antique petit point upholstery with polychrome decoration of flowers and trimmings in the
in the taste of Salembier.

Dimensions of the sofa : 93 x 145 x 70 cm.

Established around 1880 at 9, rue de Rocroy in Paris, Jansen moved permanently to 9, rue Royale in 1885 and became an upholsterer
