Female nude. Beautiful fragment of a statue in white marble. The abdomen has a slight volume, which marks a delicate fold above the pubis. The triangle of the female sex is also finely represented. The buttocks are well shaped. The treatment of the flesh and the musculature shows the sculptor's sensitivity. The round, lean muscles are well defined, and the care taken in the sculpture suggests the beauty of the complete work. Roman period, 1st-2nd century AD. H: 31.5 cm W: 30.5 cm D: 24.5 cm.
