Ryuichi Kakurezaki (born in 1950) Bizen vase, Hidasuki technique Clay Signed beneath the base Model created circa 1990 H 42×L 23×W 19 cm Note: With its signed wooden box. Biography: Graduated from Osaka University of Arts in 1973. Guest professor at Skidmore College, New York, in 1985. Member of the Japan Kogei Association in 1990. Winner of the Japan Ceramic Society Award in 1996. Winner of the Kaneshige Toyo (Linving National Treasure) award in 2009. Winner of the Japan Ceramic Society Award in 2015. Declared Intangible Cutural Good of Japan in 2019.
