Vintage silver print on double-weight semi-matte Agfa Brovira paper, in excellent condition. Photographer's "Folkwang Verlag" stamp, "Freudeskreis Ernst Fuhrmann" stamp, and "Wilhelm Arnholdt Maschinensetzerei" stamp in violet ink, as well as paper label with typewritten title, editor's and photographer's name on the reverse. Albert Renger-Patzsch took over the management of the image archive of the Folkwang publishing house in 1922. This made the publishing house, founded in 1919, a center for photography of the New Objectivity. The publishing house now also operated in Darmstadt and in 1923 became the Auriga-Verlag (Auriga, Latin for Fuhrmann).
