Villefranche, Antoine Baudrand, 1671. One volume in-4 (16 x 21.5 cm, 187 pp, 1 ff.), full contemporary binding in brown basane. Binding restored, title page cut short, paper slightly yellowed and warped, old institutional stamps.
Rare first edition of one of the first books printed in Villefranche.
Title with the arms of the city and 4 plates: the first one reproduces the arms of the city in the middle of those of the four aldermen to whom the book is dedicated, the second plate, folding, represents the facade of the church of Villefranche and the needle which surmounted the bell tower in the XVIth century, the third one shows the tomb of Léonor de Savoie and the fourth one, Édouard, last lord of Beaujeu, playing chess with the demoiselle de La Bessée.
