Portrait of a woman, 1963 Oil on paper mounted on cardboard, signed and dated lower left. Minor wear to the corners. We find a portrait of the same model dated 1965 sold at Sotheby's in 2017. Dimensions : 60 x 30 cm Syrian expressionist painter born in Aleppo, he began at the Al-Tajhiz school before perfecting his skills at the Accademia di Belle Arte in Rome. With his friend Fateh Moudarres, Kayali will remain as one of the two most important representatives of Syrian Modern Art.
