Curious work devoted to the analysis and description of various ancient torture methods and various fashions of bells and rattles that the author wrote while a prisoner of the Ottomans in Istanbul after being captured following the siege of Famagusta. 12mo, (130 x 75mm). 21 plates in text and out of text: 11 in De Tintinnabulis (2 folded); 10 in de Equuleo (1 folded) (slightly browned).
