Sofa two seats with flat back and rounded cheeks in beech wood molded and carved with plant motifs.
The backrest receives armrests with molded shafts and the supports are in consoles.
The curved belt rests on four arched feet, finished with stoppers.

This skilled craftsman, eldest son of Jean GOURDIN, supplied the Prince of Soubise. He left his stamp on seats of a very noble character and excellent workmanship. The Crown of England owns a suite of ten armchairs made by GOURDIN the elder at Windsor Castle.
