Important oval tureen and its support in chased and embossed silver
The cover in doucine, decorated with rosettes and reserves lined with a twist, is surmounted by a grip grained on acanthus foliage, surrounded by a row of pearls.
The body, enriched with a frieze of acanthus scrolls framed by moldings, is flanked by two leafy handles. It is provided with a double interior container and it rests on a fluted pedestal.
The support in doucine presents a similar decoration to the lid surrounded by a frieze of flutes

The lid, the body and the support present a crowned shield topped by an eagle and supported by two winged figures on an entablature. The symbolism of the winged figures and the eagle indicates, very probably, a realization intended for an ecclesiastical person.
