Petersburg, master mark CK for Sergei Kuyetkovsky, active c. 1892-1908, gilt interior, the lid inlaid with a painted old master portrait of Principessa Beatrice d'Este after Leonardo da Vinci, round box finely engraved and blackened in niello technique, lid edged with turquoises, somewhat pressed at the stand, otherwise in very good condition for age, d approx. 5 cm, g total approx. 64 g.
