Uniform of the Administrator of the Colonies composed of an officer's jacket and a kepi in black cloth and silver braids, embroidered with oak leaves, a belt, blue and red cloth pants, a pair of boots and a sword in steel and brass, the fuse in twisted horn. Sword length 103 cm. (Wear and tear, missing parts). Provenance : Fernand OLIVEDA Collection, Knight of the Legion of Honor and Chief Administrator of the colonies from 1888 to 1930 (Madagascar, Senegal, Congo). In 1925, he was Chief of the Secretariat of the General Governor of the Middle Congo.
