Notthafft, art historian, collector, researcher at the Hermitage Museum, and founder of the Akvilon publishing house. She is known thanks to the portrait made of her by Boris Koustodiev (now kept in the Russian National Museum in St. Petersburg). In 1923, she left Soviet Russia with her son Andrei for her native Switzerland.
