Silver plated brass frame. Ebony handle (split). Cap with "ribs of Melon", with short skirt.
One branch baluster hilt, two shuttle mounts and curved quillon downwards. Curved blade with flat back. Counter-edge and cruex back, engraved on the half. Leather scabbard with three cut brass fittings, decorated with two rings. Iron sting.
